DON JONES is the organizing member, Broker and Manager of Colorado McFeeders Realty, Appraisal & Management L.L.C.  Don has a broad background in Real Estate and as a Farm and Ranch Manager / Operator. He was born in Southwestern Kansas at Dodge City, and raised in Northern Arizona at Prescott where we worked on a Farm / Ranch.  Don has lived in Colorado for 38 years.  He is married to Susan, an RN and the Home Health Care Director for Colorado Plains Medical Center, better known as the Fort Morgan Hospital in Fort Morgan, Colorado.  They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren and enjoy fishing and hunting vacations.  Don has  diverse and extensive experience in Ranching Operations, Irrigated and Dryland Farming, Farm And Ranch Management, Irrigation system design and installations, Farm and Ranch Finance, Agricultural Real Estate Transactions, Farm and Ranch Consulting, Receiverships, Farm and Ranch Appraisal, and Recreation Property Sales.  His background covers several of the western states including Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Arizona, and Montana. His major responsibilities include Farm, Ranch, Recreation Property, Farm and Ranch Management for absentee landowners and lenders, plus Real Estate sales for Buyers and Sellers.  Don has over 28 years of business experience with Farm, Ranch and Recreation Property, plus widely diverse agricultural consulting projects. Don is also qualified to work with commercial, multi-unit residential and business opportunity management, sales, appraisal and consulting. Don’s educational background includes a B.S., Animal Science from Colorado State University in 1972 and a M.S. in Animal Science from Colorado State University in 1974.  He is also a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker, a Colorado Certified General Appraiser and an Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) with the American Society of Farm Mangers and Rural Appraisers (ASFM & RA) , plus Don takes continuing education classes year round to maintain his licenses and accreditation.  Don served his Country in the Army National Guard from 1970-1976.  Don has been qualified as an expert witness in Courts throughout Colorado in many areas of expertise, which include:

Don is active in his community having served as President of the Morgan County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) for 2 years (MCEDC).  He is a past President of the Morgan Community College Foundation Board, Morgan County Board of Realtor Director.  Don has received numerous awards including National District Sale Manager of the Year for American Breeder Service (ABS), Realtor of the Year in 2004 and The SAGE Award for MCEDC in 2003-2004, just to name a few.
